Still Here

Well we are in the middle of week four here at Temple Dental and I am still surviving. Actually, I am more than surviving. It has been a pretty easy run so far. Most all of the classes I have have been a review of stuff I learned in undergrad already or in Dr. Mirci's Predental Orientation class. We have just had a few quizzes here and there and I am doing fine on all of those. The Restorative Dentistry lab we have is going along well too and I am churning out little wax teeth like a madman. We have our first lab practical on thursday, but I am not too worked up about it. I will do fine and I will have plenty of time. They give us 3 and 1/2 hours and I should only need about an hour to get it done. It is a wax up of tooth number 6 (upper right canine in case you were wondering) and it is pretty straight forward.

Ashley started work this week at the tennis club nearby. She thinks she will like it and it will be good for her. She has also even been able to line up some private lessons on top of the regular classes she will be teaching. So things are falling into place for her it seems.

Aside from that really not too much going on. We are enjoying where we live and enjoying the nice weather we have been having too. We went out to a park here in the city and did a little rollerblading and that, and of course we found the "Rocky Stairs" and the statue and took pictures. I will try and post those as well as some pictures of my wax ups on here soon so you all can see what it is we have been up to.

Well I am off to bed, it is late and I had a long day so I am tired.

Hey Matt, thanks for the tips on posting photos. I will try again in a few days. Your apt looks nice. How much snow do you get in the winter there? It has started cooling down at night here, but is still quite nice during the day. I am looking forward to seeing your waxes or whatever they are called. I worked all day today, so I am tired, too and heading for bed. Keep in touch. Love, Aunt Susan
